Zelda-like action-adventure game

Lenna’s Inception is an action-adventure game from Bytten Studio. In the game, you will play the unwilling hero, Lenna, in a quickly unraveling world. The actual hero in the game is dead, and the kingdom started glitching. You—as Lenna—must step up and save the kingdom. But if you don’t play your cards right, you might end up like the hero. Lenna’s Inception displays a lot of similarities to The Legend of Zelda. But, it does everything it can to defy the usual conventions of the genre. It has several features that help it stand out from the crowd.

Explore the dungeons

Lenna’s Inception is a nice adventure game. It takes place in both 8-bit and 32-bit worlds, wrapping you up between the two art styles to help you solve puzzles and encounter new stories. As you play, you can see that both styles have both nice animations. Besides this, the game also is procedurally generated, which means that no two playthroughs are exactly the same. Sticking to that, the game offers multiple endings and boss forms. With this, you’ll be able to play Lenna’s Inception many times to experience everything the game has to offer.

Gameplaywise, Lenna’s Inception is good. However, there are too many obstacle types. Each dungeon you explore unlocks something, which you need to unlock another type of obstacle. Having this can be hectic since the game only allows you to equip three things at a time. But the rest of the game makes up for it. In addition to various dungeons, there are also a few sidequests that do not repeat. More, there is a new map available every time you launch the game. Of course, the glitchy gameplay also plays well as it gives the game a bit of a puzzle game vibe.

All in all, Lenna’s Inception is a great game. Sure, some things could have been executed well, such as giving the players more freedom to explore and lesser game generation time, but, overall, it provides a nice experience. It has unique gameplay and is aesthetically pleasing. It also offers a lot of avenues to explore. It is one of those games you can play once or twice, or probably more.
