Clownfield 2042 is a premium action game that was developed by Riverside Sports for PC. It’s a first-person shooter where players take on the role of a fully armed soldier fighting in a war that erupted after a market crash caused by NFTs. They will take to the front lines and eliminate all threats.
Being a parody of sorts of Battlefield 2042, Clownfield 2042 takes inspiration from it, at the same time, pokes fun at some of its glaring flaws and broken game systems. It also features a distinct art style that utilizes sharp polygon graphics for a unique look.
Clown warfare
Clownfield 2042 takes place in an alternate reality wherein a crypto-market crash caused by NFTs(or Non-Fungible Token) sends shockwaves throughout various nations across the world and has collapsed their economies. You play as a soldier for the No-Clowns union that was formed to combat the war that has erupted after the global event. Arm yourself to the brim and be ready to fight.
In Clownfiled 2042, you will be engaging in all-out multiplayer warfare with other players online. There are four game modes available to choose from. Once decided, pick a side among three world factions and battle it out across the game’s 11 unique maps. You can even customize your character with six skins for each country that you can wear and represent them on the battlefield.
Commander a hovercraft for yourself, and completely disrupt the physics of the game with gravity-defying feats. If you prefer to play solo, you can enter the Clownfield Gateway, and here you can create a customized experience, complete with over-the-top weather conditions and scenarios. Recently, though, the game has been having server issues and lack of availability has resulted in a steep drop in player count.
Up in the air
Clownfield 2042 started out as a parody of Battlefield 2042, but it eventually became a thing of its own. It was a quirky and humorous game that was fun to play and did not take itself too seriously. It has experienced a steep decline since its release. though. Whether it gets a resurgence in popularity and player activity again, only time will tell.
