Bring more spells to your game with Apocalypse – Magic of Skyrim

Apocalypse – Magic of Skyrim is a free, fan-made mod for Skyrim that adds new spells to the game’s magic system. Once you have added the mod, you can use 155 new spells, plus additional scrolls and spell with new animation sequences.

Unlike cosmetic modes, such as Fores New Idle Mod and the Flora Overhaul Mod, Apocalypse – Magic of Skyrim brings a new gameplay aspect. It gives players a broad range of new spells to play with on their next run through the game.

A library of new spells

Anybody who feels that Skyrim’s spells lack variety will appreciate this mod. The 155 new spells serve a range of purposes from illusion to destruction, fitting different character levels and integrates seamlessly into the main game. Furthermore, the spells are obtained from the same sources as built-in magic, making access a simple matter.

Different spells for different times

The new spells are divided into categories: Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Restoration, and Scroll Only. The spells, for example, let you locate hidden objects, summon supernatural beings to serve you, or send magical weapons against foes. They are designed to fit into the world of Skyrim while adding something new.

Only playable characters

Apocalypse – Magic of Skyrim has one drawback— it does not allow NPCs to cast these new spells. However, it makes up for shortcomings with a wealth of additional features. It even includes professional-quality animation for the magic when cast.

Retains the original Skyrim feel

The mod is designed to bring something genuinely new to Skyrim while staying true to the spirit of the game and its setting. Though users will gain many new spells to use, nothing there will disrupt or break the game.
