Video game adaptation of Evil Dead

Evil Dead: The Game is a premium action game for PC developed by Saber Interactive. It’s a horror adventure title and video game adaptation of the popular Evil Dead media franchise. Gamers will get to play various characters from its universe in co-op and multiplayer modes.

Similar to Mad Max, Evil Dead: The Game was based on popular film franchises, and aims to bring the story into the video game space for players to experience. It’s slated for release across all major gaming platforms, including PC, on May 13, 2022, with pre-orders already being accepted.

Video game treatment for a cult classic

Evil Dead is a horror media franchise that was created by director Sam Raimi. It garnered a cult following through the years, with its first-ever 1981 movie being regarded as one of the most successful films ever made. Here comes Evil Dead: The Game, a video game adaptation that will let new and old fans alike experience the story in a whole new way for the modern age.

In this adaptation, you’ll play Ash Williams, as well as other iconic characters from the films, including Scotty, Kelly Maxwell, and more. Play co-op in a team of four as you fend off Deadites unleashed by an ancient text known as the Book of the Dead. Alternatively, battle in PvP multiplayer as you take control of the Kandarian Demon and take the souls of the others.

What’s more, you can brandish your signature chainsaw, short barrel shotgun, and many other weapons to dish out deadlier and gruesome finishes. As mentioned earlier, the game is set to be released on May 13, 2022, but you can already pre-order it via its official Epic Games Store page now. You’ll also get some nice in-game bonuses that include two outfits for Ash to wear.

Hack some Deadites

Whether you’re new to the franchise or have been a long-time fan, Evil Dead: The Games serves up a new and unique way for you to relive or experience the classic story and adventures of Ash Williams and his gang. The game looks great, offers multiple game modes, and plenty of chances to wreak gruesome carnage. This is definitely worth keeping an eye out for when it finally releases.
