Horror strategy game
Invasion Vill is a first-person horror game from Wdark that will challenge you to escape an alien lair. Like an escape room game, it will have you explore and solve puzzles to complete your mission. However, you only have five tries to do so.
As with games of the same genre, Invasion Vill comes with a monster ready to pounce on you at every chance. Similar to The Backrooms 1998, it is built around sound. It uses sounds to hunt you rather than its eyesight. With this, making no noise should be a part of your strategy.
Escape the alien lair
Invasion Vill is an escape room type of game. However, rather than a haunted room, you are placed in an alien lair. As mentioned, your goal is to escape in five tries. To do so, you will explore the lair and solve puzzles. However, there is a monster that you will need to avoid to survive longer. Don’t worry, though. This monster does not have good eyesight.
Additionally, the lair is filled with items you can use to escape the enemy. You can hide under beds, cupboards, and even chests. You can be safe so long as the monster does not see you hiding. That said, be careful in making any noise as the monster appears to have excellent hearing. It will run towards any loud sound it hears.
More than escaping, you will also encounter creatures on the map that need your help. In exchange for help, you will gain items you can use to achieve your goal. Players should note, however, that the game contains content that is not appropriate for viewing at work or for younger audiences. It has frequent violence and even comes with nonspecific adult content.
Typical premise, still challenging
All in all, Invasion Vill is your typical survival horror game. Its gameplay and premise are the same as other games of the genre. However, what makes it different is that the antagonist uses sound to haunt you. This makes moving on a dark map extra challenging. Also, the limited number of attempts to escape makes the goal more difficult to achieve.
