Mirror Your Android Phone onto Your Television Screen Wirelessly
Miracast Wi-Fi Display is a tool that lets you cast the screen of your Android device on to your smart television or wireless display adapter wirelessly. The app works on a range of Android devices running Android version 4.2 or later.
Wireless HDMI
Functioning like HDMI without the cable, Miracast Wi-Fi Display mirrors your device onto your television screen with audio and high-definition visuals. Once you enable Miracast, everything – from apps and videos to your phone’s general interface – can be replicated on the large screen. The streaming options are infinite. Miracast incorporates the H.264 codec for mirroring videos in Full HD and surround sound audio. Copyrighted materials, such as music and DVDs, could be mirrored too, thanks to the DRM layer.
Using the App
To start casting your phone’s screen onto your television, make sure your TV supports Miracast or wireless display. If it does, you are good to go. Ensure your handheld device and television are connected to the same Internet network. If your phone is using mobile data and your TV is connected to your Wi-Fi, the screen casting will not work. Once you’ve made sure the compatibility exists and network connections are set right, you may hit the connect button on the app and choose the television option. You may now cast your device’s screen.
