Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is a free mobile fighting game based on the Power Rangers universe. Although it visually resembles a traditional fighting game like Street Fighter or King of Fighters, attacks and blocks are based not just on button inputs but also on cards, adding a random element to gameplay.

In Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, you control not just one hero but a team. Your Leader character is your main character, who does most of your attacks, but you can also select two additional characters who provide you with powerful assists. Choosing the right combination of characters is important to victory. The combat mechanic is fairly complex for a mobile game, you have a power meter which builds up and a series of attack cards to choose from. Play an attack and you’ll spend that many power points, while the attack card will be replaced by a new one. Attacks also have ranges, so you can use movement to position your attacks and avoid your enemies’. As you progress, you’ll earn boxes which give you currency and new characters. This does mean that, as in most free mobile games, there’s an in-app purchase element.
