The problem with running a large network is that it can be difficult to track what each of its users are getting up to. We’ve all heard the stories of employees downloading lewd content on BitTorrent during work time or spending all day talking drivel on Messenger.
SwitchSniffer is designed to put you, the network administrator back in charge by allowing you to monitor and control all of the communications made over a LAN.

The application provides you with lots of information about the current state of the network, revealing the number of users connected, the amount of traffic generated by each one, the type of communications being made, the IP addresses they’re visiting, and lots more.
There are also plenty of control options, including the ability to block a single user, to restrict in some way their communications, and analyse the files they’ve transmitted or received.

SwitchSniffer is a program that can scan your switched LAN for up hosts and can reroute and collect all packets without the target users’ recognition.

It can also detect the ‘arpspoofer’ program running on the network and block user definable sessions like firewall. If you use this program in tandem with any sniffer program, you can capture and see the users’ IDs and passwords on a switched network.
