Create stylish avatars and cool wallpapers
Lily Diary: Dress Up Game is a free simulation mobile video game that lets you dress up your characters in style. Developed by SeyeonSoft, this 2D dress-up game features customization of unique avatars, the ability to save these images, and even scene creation tools.
Similar to Gacha Club, Lily Diary: Dress Up Game offers hundreds of customization items—although you can’t freely change the color of the clothes here or layer more than one item from the same category. Nevertheless, this game has a great art style and can be used to create adorable wallpapers with original avatars.
Be as creative as you can be
Lily Diary: Dress Up Game is just like other avatar maker games. You can freely create a character of any gender—and this game allows you to create up to a whopping 2,997 characters. There are two main parts that the in-depth tutorial covers: the avatar creator section and the background decoration section. By default, the menu opens up to the latter and houses all of your saved avatars.
For the avatar creator section, you must first tap an empty plus sign at the very bottom of the menu. You’ll be given a new template and can start customizing it using the 21 different categories. These range from facial features to various outfit accessories, as you can only select one item from each category. Note that you can only choose the color of the skin, hair, and eyes.
This means that all clothes and accessories can’t be fully customized. You can’t adjust their color or their height placement on the avatar. After saving an avatar, you can then create images or GIFs with it by placing it on the blank background—and you can use multiple avatars. The background objects you can place can be mirrored but not rotated. If you’d like more items, you can purchase some sets in-game.
Could use some more features
All in all, Lily Diary: Dress Up Game is a great dress-up game to try out if you like creating wallpapers or GIF scenes of your fashionable characters. While the customization features aren’t fully in-depth like some of the others in this genre, it’s still quite an enjoyable game due to its adorable art style and spacious storage for saving avatars.
