The Pocket GFR Calculator app is the most accurate and reliable way to calculate your Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR). It is an app that has been designed for use by health care professionals to calculate the eGFR for a given patient. The eGFR results will help you to determine the stage of chronic kidney disease (CKD).

How is the Pocket GFR Calculator app used?

You will need to provide the following information to calculate the eGFR for a given patient:

1. A blood sample (i.e. a finger stick) to obtain the patient’s blood glucose level.

2. The patient’s weight.

3. The patient’s height.

4. A number, which will be used to calculate the eGFR for the patient. This number is called the “basal” or “initial” number.
