A free C&C Generals Zero hour that adds more units
The Back To The Jungle Mod adds more units, structure designs, and combat balancing changes to Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour. Some units were built from the ground up, and some units (and most updated buildings) were re-skinned from existing assets.
This real-time strategy mod adds more elements to the game’s combat in order to make the in-game battles more sophisticated. This C&C Generals Zero hour mod doesn’t add performance changes as Project Raptor does, but it does add AI improvements for more challenging and fairer fights while playing C&C Generals.
Adding combat-specific elements
Each faction has had certain elements enhanced and nerfed so that the game plays more like chess. Spamming the most powerful units, typically the big tanks is still a strong strategy, but a mixed group of units will often be more effective.
Adding multiplayer-focus elements
This C&C mod adds things like blue colors for ships. That way, when other people are uncovering the fog of war over water areas, they have a harder time seeing the blue ships against a blue sea. Unlike the original, the modded game doesn’t punish you as hard for taking a slower pace when you play.
Its own unique experience
The mod will not work with other C&C Generals mods. This mod offers its own experience, helping to change the way that veteran fans approach each battle. Its biggest flaw is that it doesn’t offer performance improvements to go along with its additions. As a result, people with more powerful devices will have the best experiences.
A great starting effort
There are many other places they could go with this Generals Zero Hour mod, from adding better sound effects to adding significantly more aircraft to the factions. Nevertheless, this mod adds enough combat-specific alterations to keep most veteran players happy.
