Free FPS action game

Splatana! Splatoon is a free shooting experience for Roblox created by Noobot9k. The game is based on and heavily inspired by Nintendo’s original Splatoon. The game rests solidly in the first-person shooter category and has been played 13.7 million times since its launch in 2015. The game has been favorited by over 159,000 people and, at the time of writing, had almost 700 active players. Splatana! is far from the only Splatoon alternative for Roblox, but it is one of the most compelling.

Splatoon rose to popularity because it puts a fun and exciting twist on the classic first-person shooter genre. Instead of firing weapons at one another, you’re simply firing paint at the ground and surroundings, hoping that your color is the most prevalent at the end of the match. If you enjoy beating opponents in similarly harmless ways, try Read Desc Pls Basically FNF or Another Friday Night Funkin Game by DerpToast12.

Color wars

If you’ve played Splatoon before, you’ll be familiar with the premise. If not, here are the basics of Splatana! You’ll start on a random map with numerous other players. When the round begins, you’ll need to fire your paint gun at as many surfaces, objects, and features of the land as possible. You’ll secure a win if your color is the most prevalent. In other words, if you’ve covered the most surface area with your color.

Simple gameplay

If you’re looking for something more multi-faceted than this, you’ll have to look a little further than Splatana! Luckily there are numerous environments within which you’ll spawn, so you won’t have to look at the same old game level all the time.

That said, the game does run the risk of getting a little repetitive. In cases like this, where a game is rather one-dimensional, developers usually include some kind of relief, either in the form of challenges or mini games. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Splatana!

Fun for a while

The first few times that you play Splatana!, you may be thoroughly entertained because of the fairly novel mechanic of spraying paint wherever you can. However, after a short while, the game can get a little repetitive and start to feel slightly mundane.

There are, of course, ways to spice up the gameplay with friends, but it’s far easier to just choose a more nuanced game to begin with.
