PayTollo – Mobile Tolling App Review

PayTollo is a mobile application that allows users to pay for tolls from their smartphones. The app is available for iPhone and can be downloaded for free. However, to start using the app, users must add a minimum of $25 to their balance, and the app will auto-recharge at $10.

Once downloaded, users can register their vehicle and enjoy the convenience of real-time toll transactions and notifications. PayTollo currently provides services in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington. However, it is important to note that PayTollo temporarily does NOT support rental vehicles.

PayTollo gives drivers access to cashless electronic lanes, and the app will take care of the rest. If the app isn’t open in the background, PayTollo will process the bill via the state toll authority using the user’s license plate. For instant transaction confirmations and real-time notifications, users are advised to keep the app running in the background as they pass through tolls.
