How to Play Backgammon Online

How do you play?

Each player starts with the same board and a set of dice. The dice are not used to roll the numbers, they are used to play the game. Players may use the dice to make moves by rolling the dice and throwing the dice. On your turn, roll the dice, and choose which move you wish to make. Move:

There are several ways to move, you can roll the dice, drop the dice, or skip a move. You must select a valid move for the turn. You may not drop the dice on your turn. You may not select more than one move for a turn. If you do not make a move on your turn, you pass the turn to the next player. You are not obliged to take your turn.

After each turn, the player scores points for any opponent’s pieces that are on the same row, column or diagonally. Each piece or opponent piece that is on a diagonally adjacent square adds 4 points to the score. You are not obliged to add the points for a piece or opponent piece. You may roll as many dice as you wish on your turn.

End of game:

You are not obliged to make a move on your turn.
