コイカツ！ / Koikatsu Party is a simulation game by Illusion. The game features vast 3D character customization in anime art style. Every character is customizable from the player avatar to the female NPCs. Players can be immersed in a fictional Japanese high school. They can pick a pre-built male protagonist or customize their character. There are also pre-built Story Characters to interact with, as the female NPCs can be assigned in any classroom. Players can upload and download character models online. Each female NPC has different personalities and players can adjust them before starting the game. There are various stories or scenarios for the role-play, but the main story is about forming a highschool club to help other NPCs with their life problems. Players can form relationships with every female NPC. They can engage in conversations and social activities until they become close. Like most life simulation games, giving the right response will increase their relationship status. However, the female NPCs have limited stamina for interacting with the player. Thus, management among the ladies is the key to find success. Players have to build up their stats via studying and extracurricular activities. They can enter a Character Event with the style of a visual novel, and specific player stats and responses can attract specific female NPCs. There is also an in-game time for managing the interaction, club meeting, and dating. Each day is divided into Morning, Club Time and After School, so you need to be careful with how you use your time in the game.
