XWind – A Simple Tool for Displaying the Weather Conditions

In order to operate a plane, you have to know the weather conditions for the runway and the airfield.

This means that the pilot has to check the information and data available for him/her.

At this point, it is important to know the headwind, crosswind and tailwind limitations.

xWind is a simple tool for displaying the same data that is used by the aircraft. It can be found under the heading of “Winds”.

The data displayed on the screen are taken from the airport and the airplane and are updated at the moment the aircraft is airborne.

The same display is shown on the screen of the pilot.
