SAE/Inch Thread Size Detail – Detailed Information on Threads

SAE/Inch Thread Size Detail is an Android application that displays comprehensive information on threads for inch/SAE thread sizes. The app follows the ASME B1.1 standard for Unified National Inch Screw Threads, and the data in the app is computed from the formulas given in the standard. However, due to rounding used in the standard, the app may be off by .0001", and users needing more precise data should consult the standard directly. The app displays far more detail than is listed in the tables in the standard, and users can view the information by referring to the screenshots.

The current version of the app is limited to class 2 threads, and class 1 and 3 are expected to be added later. The app is completely free, and the developer, Greg A Miller, requests users to rate the app after trying it out.
