Panic Factory is an indie game developed by Pix Grinder for Windows. This free-play game will have you go on an action-packed adventure inside an industrial complex. Here, you will play as an environmental activist out to stop the infamous Dr. Paiipozz.
Panic Factory is a platform shooter game. Your goal in the game is to escape the factory alive and rescue your friends. However, every stage will have hoards of enemies out to kill you. And while you will be armed with a gun of your own, completing a level will be difficult. You’ll end up dying often.
How do you play this game?
Panic Factory combines platforming and shooter gameplay in one game. As mentioned, you will play an environmental activist who wishes to stop the infamous Dr. Paiipozz and his monstrous mutants. However, when you and your friends barged in on his factory, he had them captured. Worse, he dropped you at the bottom of the factory. Your only way out is to fight his mutants with your gun.
The controls of the game are easy. The left and right arrows allow you to move, while the up arrow lets you jump. To shoot your gun, press the spacebar. You can also reset the level by tapping the R key. The game also supports Xbox controllers. However, you will find that clearing a level is hard and often, the gun does not work despite pressing the spacebar.
Visual-wise, the game boasts of a vibrant industrial feel brought out by its pixel art. It also comes with a great soundtrack. However, as it has unresponsive gun control, players will find the game to be difficult. Even the first level is already challenging. You will find yourself often dying in clearing a stage. This high level of difficulty extends the game’s short run time though.

All in all, Panic Factory is worth downloading if you are looking for a challenging game. Its gameplay is simple and is typical of platforming games. However, the level designs are especially challenging, requiring players to spend a lot of time clearing them. With this, despite its short gameplay, it will take ages for you to reach the final boss.
