Challenge strangers to shooting challenges

Shooting Showdown is a social shooting competition game that features gyroscope controls.

Shooting Showdown is a first person shooter that, surprisingly, doesn’t feature any zombies. Instead, you have shooting challenges like red light/green light, circular targets, and human silhouettes. Move your iOS device around to aim, as Shooting Showdown features gyroscope controls, which are very accurate. You can turn this off and use your fingers to aim but it’s much less accurate.

There aren’t very many game modes. You can practice each type of shooting event and when you’re ready, you can be pitted against strangers in a shooting contest. Most challenges are shooting the target the most amount of times for the highest score. You have unlimited ammo in Shooting Showdown but you will have to manage when to reload.

As with most free-to-play games, you can unlock more powerful guns with in-app purchases. This makes shooting competitions somewhat uneven since some more seasoned players will be able to outgun newbies.

Overall, Shooting Showdown is a simple shooting game that features repetitive gameplay and uninspired graphics.
