So what is the minimum response time you can expect from a touchscreen?

The minimum response time depends on the type of the device you use and the design of the panel. For instance, Samsung Galaxy S20 and Xiaomi Redmi K20 have comparable touch panels and are capable of supporting 120Hz. So they will be able to render 60 frames per second.

However, some devices can only update their panels at 60Hz. And this is what you need to consider when you are designing your mobile device.
