Give a new look to Skyrim’s elves

Ethereal Elven Overhaul is a free mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that alters the appearances of Elvens in the game. Similar to other mods like Skyrim Flora Overhaul Mod, Ethereal is purely a cosmetic add-on. It doesn’t impact gameplay and is well-suited for players who enjoy adjusting the game’s graphics.

The mod also includes optional high-resolution 2K textures to improve character appearances even more. However, not all consoles and monitors will support this resolution, and it can make your machine run slower. Ethereal Elven is compatible with other cosmetic elf mods if you’re eager to make more customizations.

Mod compatibility issues

As the mod’s documentation acknowledges, Ethereal Elven Overhaul has compatibility issues with other mods. For example, it is incompatible with Better FaceGen and Enhanced Character Edit, while Extended Slider Colors result in minor glitches like disappearing facepaint. However, several mods are fully compatible, so you can mix and match many expansion packs.
