Battle-royale MMO shooter for mobile

Farlight 84 is a free mobile action game from developer Farlight. It’s a third-person MMO shooter that is set in the near future. In it, players are pitted against one another in a massive battle royale using a combination of special abilities and weapons to beat their enemies.

Much like Modern Combat 5: Blackout and Apex Legends Mobile, Farlight 84 serves up a roster of unique character classes with unique skills to choose from. Drawing from sci-fi themes, the game also has a collection of futuristic weapons and vehicles to choose from to use in battle.

Farlight 84 is essentially what would happen if you combine PUBG’s open-world gameplay with Overwatch’s character variety and diversity. What you get is a diverse gameplay experience with a large open-world map to explore and fight enemies on. Leveraging popular sci-fi themes and tropes, the game also introduces the concept of the jetpack which makes for some interesting traversal and combat scenarios.

For characters, the game has 14 heroes called Capsulers to choose from, each with unique traits and abilities suited to different playstyles. There are various guns to pick from across multiple weapon types, from long-range snipers to single-shot high-damage busters. Then there are the gun-mounted vehicles that let you defend and attack while moving around the map so you’re ready for any situation that arises.

What’s more, you have multiple game modes to keep things varied and fresh. Some options include HUNT, Team Deathmatch, and more. You can also head to the Warehouse to unlock character skins for more personalization. Some things that could be improved on in future updates would be more map options and better game optimizations to help reduce high battery drain.

Overall, if you’re a fan of sci-fi shooters and want to try something new, Farlight 84 is a solid choice worth checking out. Its unique characters paired with an arsenal of futuristic weapons and vehicles make for fun and engaging gameplay. While it could benefit from more map variety and further performance optimization, they don’t detract from the great experience. Recommended.
