Retro-themed free first-person shooter

Agent No. 6 is a free first-person shooting platform that offers the look and feel of classic RPGs associated with the 1990s. This game is also imbued with a fair amount of horror, making it ideal for fans of both genres.

In some ways, the gameplay associated with Agent No. 6 can be likened to similar games associated with the “golden era” of FPS platforms, such as GoldenEye: Source. Thus, anyone who wishes to take a nostalgic trip back to the days of N64s and Sega Saturns should be in for a treat.

First-person action galore

Agent No. 6 combines fast-paced FPS gameplay with somewhat dark and brooding undertones. There are many different levels to explore, and while this game can be classified as a shoot ’em-up bundle, the presence of jumpscares provides a welcome departure from the norm.

A realistic backstory

While there is plenty of action to enjoy throughout Agent No.6, this is far more than a traditional bullet hell game. Players are instead provided with a detailed plot line, as well as a host of missions that need to be completed.

Simple and intuitive controls

Similar to other games associated with the late 1990s and early 2000s, the character mechanics are simple. Guns are provided with targets in order to shoot enemies, and when ammunition is exhausted, the main character will have to resort to a knife.

Echoes of the FPS past

The overall feel of Agent No.6 will take many players back to the days when games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and DOOM were all the rage. While the polygon-based graphics may appear rather simple and even humorous to some, this tended to be the main intention of the developer.
