Thirumannthiram Songs is a Tamil devotional song collection. It was composed by the Tamil sage Thirumalar, one of the 63 Nayanmars. It consists of over 3,000 verses and is the earliest known work in Tamil to use the word ‘Thirumantiram’, which means ‘the divine incantation’. It is a collection of religious poems and songs that deal with spiritual themes and concepts.

The poems in the Thirumantiram are collected from various Tamil poems and songs. It includes poems on the divine attributes of God, the qualities of God, the function of God, the worship of God, the different forms of prayer and worship, and many more. It is a spiritual song collection and one can see the difference between Vedanta and Siddhanta from Thirumullar’s interpretation of the Mahavakyas.

Tirumalar was a great Tamil poet and he was the king of Tamil poetry for a long period. He was a very famous poet and he composed many devotional songs and poems. Some of his famous poems include ‘Sivanda’, ‘Thirumandhiram’, ‘Sivajith’, ‘Thirumilar’, ‘Vilaiya Thirumandhiram’, ‘Thirumantiram’, ‘Tirumuli’, ‘Vilaiyan Thirumandhiram’, ‘Nammal Thirumandhiram’, ‘Thirumudai’, ‘Tirumuthar’, ‘Thirumutthar’, ‘Tirumunthar’, ‘Vilaiyan Tirumandhiram’, ‘Thiruvalluvar’ and ‘Vishnu Thirumandhiram’.
