XMedia Recode is a handy video converter with support for dozens of video formats and a special emphasis on mobile video formats.

The program features a simple interface, but don’t let it fool you; it’s a powerful program that works with many different formats and includes a bunch of settings to configure video conversion up to the smallest detail. XMedia Recode also features a built-in video player to preview the videos you’re about to convert.

XMedia Recode is also very easy to use. Just open the files you want to convert, select the output format, tweak settings according to your needs and likes and you’re good to go. Just bear in mind that you need to add the file to the queue (the Add job button) before you can start the conversion – I must admit it took me a while to figure this out.

Other than that, there’s not much else to say about XMedia Recode. Conversion takes a while, but the program can work with several files simultaneously and the results are great.
