Live as Iron Man in this VR game
Marvel Iron Man VR is an action game that allows you to step into the shoes of one of the Earth’s mightiest heroes and experience what it’s like to become Tony Stark himself. It makes use of virtual reality to better immerse the player in the lifelike experience.
Unlike Spider-Man: Homecoming – PS VR PS4, this Marvel title does not tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Marvel Iron Man VR still takes great inspiration from the original comics to portray a gripping storyline true to Iron Man’s spirit and shows the consequences of Tony Stark’s past.
Blast off into the sky
For fans of the MCU or the Marvel comics in general, Marvel Iron Man VR is a great way to view iconic locations — like Stark’s lab and beach house — with your very own eyes. The game makes use of high-quality graphics to create a realistic setting. You’ll also be able to see what it’s like from within the Iron Man suit, as well.
This adventure title does a great job of tracking your head and arm movements in order to navigate the in-game environment, even when you’re in the middle of a hectic battle. With different enemies to face, you’ll also need to come up with a good strategy to take on each one. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, so make sure to keep an eye out for them.
While there are numerous features to rave about, it’s also important to note that there are some weaknesses that the game can still improve on. One issue is the lack of variety in missions. You will often have to revisit the same locations and redo these activities, as well. Additionally, some interactions will also cause you to glitch through the people or items you interact with.
Can be even greater with some tweaks
Marvel Iron Man VR presents a thrilling premise that a wide range of audiences can enjoy. In addition to the gorgeous in-game world, you can also enjoy the experience of going up against enemies in aerial battle. However, it does need some polishing to smoothen out some visual glitches and additional content to create more variety within the game. Overall, it’s still a very good VR experience.
