Keylogger app for mobile

Type Keeper – Your keylogger is a free utility app for mobile coming from developer Viliyan Vasilev. It is a keylogger application that helps users keep track of what they type using their keyboard. That way, they can recover any text in case they accidentally delete or lose it.

Similar to other apps, such as KeyLogger or LokiBoard – Android Keylogger, Type Keeper – Your keylogger boasts seamless integration with any app that utilizes the built-in keyboard for text input. It also organizes all saved text in various ways to make it easier to search for specific entries.

Save as you type

Upon opening this app, you need to enable accessibility service for it. After that, it will start saving any text you type or save right away. It keeps a detailed report of every instance you use your keyboard to write something in a per-app and time-based manner. You also have the option to toggle global tracking or choose specific applications to track.

When you need to recover something you wrote, navigate to the corresponding app page in Type Keeper – Your keylogger and use the time slider to look for the text in question. It logs your keyboard use as typing events and saves them as clips for you to browse through. You can also search by writing snippets you recall for more specific results.

What’s more, you can enable geotagging, so the app can save the location where you started typing. It will also automatically delete old events to free up storage space. Unfortunately, it suffers from frequent crashes upon every opening. This is an issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible in an update. Aside from that, everything else works well and as it should.

Never lose texts again

Type Keeper – Your keylogger is a simple yet handy app to have installed in case you often delete or lose what you type on your keyboard. It’s easy to set up, works right away, and makes it easy to search for any text you want. The issue with the constant crashes needs to be fixed, though. Nevertheless, it’s still worth checking out.
