Join the fight

Players create their distinctive avatar, choose their attributes and are then let loose on the land. Mount&Blade: Warband is unique in that there are no levels, princesses to save or epic legends to fulfil. Join a faction, become a tradesman, farm or simply ride across the land amongst a number of warring factions fighting for control of the numerous towns and villages. Join one or set up on your own, build an army and win lords to your side. The action takes place on various battlefields with players giving orders to hundreds of troops and jumping into the fray themselves with a huge variety of weapons and armour. While the game has been out for quite some time, the huge player base and active modding scene mean it is still a popular choice in both multiplayer and single player formats.
