Fight enemies inside and out in Lenin- The Lion
Lenin – The Lion combines puzzle and RPG elements to tell the story of an outsider trying to choose the right strategies for dealing with a world that rejects him.
A puzzle RPG with a serious theme
If you’ve played other puzzle RPGs, the basic structure of Lenin – The Lion will be familiar to you. As Lenin, you wander around the world, encountering different cartoon animal characters. Each of them will have their own problems, which you may be able to help with. In addition to solving puzzles and completing quests, you’ll sometimes be given the option to choose between different courses of action. Many of the puzzles and challenges relate to Lenin’s struggle with depression and status as an outsider in society. How you choose to react to these circumstances will determine the course of the game. Lenin – The Lion features a cartoonish art style inspired by Japanese animation and retro RPGs, as well as a gentle soundtrack that oddly complements its sober themes.
A curious look at a real problem
Lenin – The Lion is a simple puzzle RPG with charming characters and setting; it tries to tell a more serious story in an engaging way.
