Modify your status across several apps

Statz is an application that keeps your status updated on multiple online services. As online presence is everything these days you want to make sure you keep everybody up to date on what’s going on in your life.

Statz currently supports nine popular services, including Adium, Colloquy and Skype. Since the application is open source, it is very likely to include even more services in the future, of which Facebook would be a good addition. Updating your status is easy as pie. Just select the service you want to change and start typing. Change are effective immediately.

In a way though, Statz misses out on the most important part of all these services it supports, which is interaction. It lets you inform others of your latest status but there’s no way for you to see that of others. Useful if you don’t really want to chat but need to change your status.
