Hydroinfo: Water level forecasts and information at your fingertips

Hydroinfo is a free Android application from Országos Vízjelző Szolgálat that provides water level forecasts and current wading information for major domestic streams. The app takes into account the current and expected meteorological situation, and provides ice forecasts and snow accumulation calculations for major domestic river basins and the Danube main heat accumulation during winter.

The app offers text, tabular, graphical, and map formats of the calculations’ results. It provides the latest forecasts for Danube, Tisza, and Drava, as well as meteorological background information and the accumulated amount of snow on the Danube catchment area.

Hydroinfo has extra features like Hydroinfo Monitor that notifies users about the latest projections and allows them to set their preferences. My Hydroinfo uses GPS to help users locate the nearest water gauge predicted positions, while Favorite Hydroinfo allows users to choose their preferred vízmércét and save time by avoiding a long list.
