Check out Fortnite’s shop with this free app
FortApp – Shop, Leaks, Challenges, Items & News is a free mobile video game utility that enables you to check the Fortnite Item Shop without logging into the game. Developed by Naxel Games, this handy program shows various aspects of the game, so you don’t have to open the game just to see them. These include what’s in the shop at the moment, the current challenges, and even upcoming items.
For loyal shoppers
FortApp is not an official app affiliated with Fortnite or its developers. However, it can still reliably display in-game information that you may need, in case you can’t personally check it. For one, you can access the Item Shop—and even see the live timer for the next round. You can’t purchase directly from it, but you can subscribe to an item you really like and get alerted when it’s available. It even links to YouTube.
You can also check out upcoming or leaked items and easily search existing ones by different categories, like skins and backpacks, and filter them out by rarity and season. The app can also track your progress in the Challenges and includes the guides for them. However, you’ll have to track manually since the app can’t be connected to your account. If you like being up-to-date, there’s also the News section for the game.
What’s great about this app is that it supports multiple languages. It even has two dark mode themes in the settings. As mentioned, you don’t need to log in with your account to see any information about the game. However, the app does require an internet connection. It’s only too bad that it can’t show your profile or monitor your stats. It would have been helpful when you’re planning on what to buy, and you need to know how much money you have.
Not bad for a third-party app
Overall, FortApp is a convenient companion app for avid players of Fortnite. Not only does it shows accurate live updates for the Item Shop, it even lets you set up notifications to be able to purchase those items you had an eye on. It also includes Challenges and links you to YouTube searches of the item you’re browsing. Unfortunately, it’s not a full-on companion for the game due to a lack of official support.
