System tweak utility for Windows 10

Debloat Windows 10 is a free and open-source software that was created by an independent developer named Alex Hirsch. This system management utility tool enables users to manage their computers running the Windows 10 operating system by letting them make tweaks and changes to core system components and features.

Similar to programs like Optimizer and Win Toolkit, Debloat Windows 10 allows you to make certain changes to Windows 10 to improve system performance and overall user experience. It features a collection of scripts that you can easily run, depending on your preference and what you need.

How does Debloat Windows 10 work?

Debloat Windows 10 is a collection of scripts that you can use to modifydisable, or remove certain core functions and components in Windows 10. It features a total of 9 scripts that have their own purpose and function. Some of the ones that you can choose from include blocking telemetry, disabling service and features, and removing default applications.

To use these scripts, you will need Windows Power Shell to do so. Search for “poweshell” on your start menu, right-click on the result, and choose “Run as administrator“. Next, run the Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted to allow the running of scripts. Then, navigate to the directory where you saved them and run them as needed. Lastly, when you’re done, run the Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted command.

Before using Debloat Windows 10, do take note of a few important considerations first. Firstly, it’s meant for advanced users and requires extensive knowledge in scripting and command-line usage. Another is that changes cannot be undone—hence, it would be best to run scripts on a fresh installation of Windows or create a restore point in case anything goes wrong.

Use with caution

Debloat Windows 10 offers a good collection of powerful scripts that you can take advantage of to create a better and cleaner version of your Windows 10 operating system. It cannot be emphasized enough that this is meant for advanced users, but if you know what you’re doing, these scripts will serve you well.
