More than that, the app also allows for a host of digital payment services. With it, you can buy load, pay bills, and even apply for in-app insurance service.
GCash is a complete payment service platform, much like PayPal or PayMaya. However, while it is usable virtually anywhere in the world, it requires linking to a Philippine-based mobile number.

As mentioned, GCash is a mobile payment app that requires a connection to a mobile number from the Philippines. Using it elsewhere would require you to subscribe to a roaming service. However, it lacks measures that protect users from any transaction error.
