Browse online with Yahoo! integration
Yahoo! Axis is a browser that allows you to view the web with an integrated Yahoo! search.
The browser presents a streamlined interface, and when typing a search term, Yahoo! Axis will present results. If you enter a URL, Yahoo! Axis will show links to content on that website. Signing in through multiple devices will sync from the desktop plug-in through setting a bookmark.
Yahoo! Axis also integrated Pinterest and Twitter so you can share favorite sites with others. On iPad, you can view pages as a full desktop view or specifically customized for iPad or iPhone. Support in Yahoo! Axis for tabbed browsing is a good addition, although it does not default to open new tabs for shortcuts. Even holding a link does not give you the option to open it in a new tab.
The browser looks like it supports embedded videos from YouTube, but other video embeds may not work. It is a nice feature for in-page video viewing, but looks like YouTube is the only embed that functions, which limits the feature.
As a browser for iOS, it has great functionality and works well, but may need some tweaks and updates to work as well as others. If you are a consistent Yahoo! user, then the connectivity between your account and Yahoo! Axis is great.
Yahoo! Axis is a good browser for iOS users, but other browsers can offer more functions.
