Brush Your Teeth with Ben le Koala is an Android app developed by Signes de sens, a lifestyle app in the Health & Fitness category that aims to help little kids with and without disabilities in their daily lives. The app features a fictional animated character, Ben le Koala, who makes gestures and the child learns by imitating him. Ben facilitates learning and accessibility to independence for children by teaching them personal hygiene, dressing, protective measures, yoga, music awakening, balance, juggling, manual activities, and nutrition. The app offers step-by-step visual aids to help children learn at their own pace and hints for parents. Moreover, there are many functionalities to adapt the learning pace of children, such as playback mode with breaks, slow playback, vocal instructions, and notifications. Developed in collaboration with the Centre Ressources Autisme du Nord-Pas-de-Calais, the app is accessible to kids with disabilities and particularly to kids on the autism spectrum.
