A free mod for Cyberpunk 2077, by Salmo.
In order for you to be able to analyse and visualize the HDR output of the game, you need to download and install Reshade, then paste the “hdr_view.fx” file into the “.exe” folder, and enable it in-game.
If you have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for a while, you probably already have an idea of how the game works, but if you want to know more details, here is a short description:
It transforms all SDR pixels to a grayscale, and the rest to a gradient according to the HDR luminance (nits).
The scale in nits is roughly yellow – 200 red – 500 blue magenta
white+ . The shader is based on my own HDR FIX, and it is inspired on the tools used on HDR GAME ANALYSIS.
