Whimsical Zombie Mayhem

Humanities survival depends on you. Combine weapons and move from tower to tower as you fight back progressive hordes of zombies. Defend the town, keep humanity safe, kill zombies.

Tower Defense

Like many virtual reality shooters, you play a static assailant, armed to the teeth and besieged on all sides by zombies. Only you’re not completely static. In Pale Lands VR, you can move between different towers. Handy if you let the zombies get too close. Speaking of the zombies, there are five different types with a number of special attacks between them. For yourself, you have a number of standard, unusual, and downright absurd weapons at your disposal (ever killed a zombie with a chicken leg before?) and you can use it all to keep humanity safe. The graphics are cartoony but polished looking. The general feel of the game, while somewhat intense and adrenaline inducing, is fun and whimsical; ideal for gamers who want to play a virtual reality shooter but don’t like horror.

Value for Money

At such a low price it’s hard to condemn this game for anything, but in the interests of fairness, it’s worth noting that the bow and arrow is not the best feeling weapon you’ll experience. Also the selection of weapons in general is a bit limited. Other than that, this game is a definite recommend.
