Pay-to-play horror FPS game

ZAAM is a premium horror adventure from the iconic developer of the “it’s always monday” game. Told from an ominous point of view, you’ll solve and unravel the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of a little girl named Lucy. Bear in mind that you won’t just simply explore Lucy’s life as you have the power to completely shape it also.

The game world provided by ZAAM is highly interactable so you’re highly encouraged to touch various objects in order to find any hint that can keep Lucy’s case moving forward. For free horror games try the Fears to Fathom series.

Cinematic psycho-thriller experience

Most of the cinematic scenes that you can encounter here in ZAAM are heavily inspired by many of the John Carpenter and David Cronenberg movies. You can expect yourself to be moved by the emotional storyline that it presents, especially once your memories start getting untangled one after another, and you find out the disturbing relationship between a father and his daughter.

To complement the dark and heavy gameplay that this psychological game displays, cryptic background sounds add to the terrifying atmosphere that you’ll have to walk through. At some point, the graphic images can turn surreal and you will feel like you’re in a dream because of how absurd the event is. The developers shared that this narrative-driven game only grants short playtime of an hour and a half.

As stated, it will be vital for you to interact with the environment, particularly objects as valuable clues can be hidden there somewhere. Moreover, as you examine the places, you can discover some light puzzles that are easy to solve. It also offers multiple endings. Various choices can end you up with a different ending but achieving it will not be easy as no direction is given at all.

Short but extremely challenging

In ZAAM, you will start without any direction in the game so there are times that you’ll just pointlessly click around in hopes of locating a helpful hint. If you like that type of psychological puzzle then, this is the perfect match for you. It’s indeed a short game that can be finished in one sitting but nonetheless, it’s still a one-of-a-kind horror action with cinematic graphics.
