A free car driving and stunt driving game
Extreme Car Driving Simulator 2 is primarily about driving around a city in a sandbox fashion, but this game also includes stunt ramps and dangerous driving areas to make the game a little more interesting.
Far superior to the first game
Extreme Car Driving Simulator 2 offers a small selection of super cars that you may drive around different maps. There are stunt ramps, obstacles, and race tracks that you may encounter. You collect coins in order to buy different types of cars with different modifications. The graphics are still primitive when compared with other games that were released around the time that this game was released, but the graphics are still far superior to those of the first game. There are also more customizations and places to visit than the first game. The fact that the game marketers mention GTA (Grand Theft Auto) seems counterproductive since games such as GTA offer driving simulators like this except that they have better graphics, more depth, bigger maps and more things to do. However, if a user isn’t allowed GTA or cannot afford games such as GTA (or the consoles/PCs on which they operate), then Extreme Car Driving Simulator 2 may be a passable replacement for the driving side element of the game.
Only small problems remain
Extreme Car Driving Simulator 2 has fixed many of the problems that existed in the poorly-produced and half-finished first game, but a few problems still remain. One is that the game still pales in comparison to larger big-budget driving games of its era, and the second is that there is still very little point to playing other than to drive a car, which is something that other games offer as a byproduct rather than a gaming premise. Yet, to give Extreme Car Driving Simulator 2 a balanced review, it is fair to say that there is far more to do in this game than in the original/first game.
