CrimeTrip – True Crime Game in Augmented Reality

CrimeTrip is an augmented reality game that lets you become a detective and investigate notorious true crime cases. Developed by Prologue XR, this game uses conversational generative AI powered by Chat GPT to engage you in real-life criminal cases and let you solve them in augmented reality. The game is free to download, but individual episodes require in-app purchases.

In each episode, you will be tasked with investigating a historical true crime from the 70s and 80s era. The latest episode, The Heist of the Century, lets you investigate a notorious armored truck heist using your own voice via Speech-to-Text. You have five suspects to interview, and your job is to turn one of the suspects into a mole and make him snitch the culprits. With unique AR mechanics, you will solve ingenious and challenging puzzles, discover captivating true-crime content, and elaborate your theories on unresolved true-crime cold cases.
