Free PvP battle royale

Battlepalooza is a free action battle royale mobile game developed by nWay. The matches in this game take place in recreations of real-world cities, but the game itself is portrayed as a digital game show of competitors from around the world playing for small prizes. The developer has collaborated with Google’s Real-World Gaming team to use Google Maps to display familiar locations in fighting arenas.

Limited yet action-packed gameplay

What’s unique about Battlepalooza is that you can go head-to-head with only 24 players in cities like Las Vegas and San Francisco. There are classic team modes such as Duos and Trios—and you can drop in and drop out of matches in multiplayer mode. These are common battle royale game mechanics since they speed up the action. However, they also allow you the ability to get in and out of the game at your own pace.

Compared to other available battle royale games, this one Battlepalooza is meant to be more accessible. By mixing the features of strategy games with luck-based results, you are more likely to emerge with skill-based victories instead of just quickly being able to respond to attacks. The game plays from a top-down viewpoint, featuring a combination of systems from other titles, such as role-playing game loadouts and MOBA systems.

You’re going to select your particular loadout so make sure it suits your battle plan at the start of each match. Your character’s abilities and gear can be improved in the game by obtaining special objects. You’re going to need to decide what things to equip and what to upgrade with your resources. With a well-considered plan, you have a fair chance of winning.

Great playground for beginners

Battlepalooza is similar to Fortnite and League of Legends, with a top-down view on the gameplay. Unfortunately, the match count is much lower than usual, with only 24 contestants and the option of Duo or Trio squads. However, drop-in/drop-out coop multiplayer provides more accessibility and no downtime between rounds. Overall, this title is a decent choice for beginners who want to start playing battle royales.
