An electronic recipe book for chefs

What’s for dinner tonight? With Recipe Box you’ll be able to store all your different recipes in one place on your computer. Create recipes from scratch, adding ingredients, time required and instructions. You can also include a picture of the dish. Recipe Box can organize your recipes by course, and you can also create your own if you wish. The program can also generate your shopping list and everything you note down in Recipe Box can be printed out. You can also check what you write down with the ingredients, preparation and measurement dictionaries.

The streamlined interface gives you a clear view of all of your recipes, and browsing them by course is very easy. The only downside of the application would be the way you edit shopping lists. Although it’s easy to add ingredients and amounts, it’s not very simple to edit a shopping list after you’ve closed it or to erase one. Clicking “create shopping list” simply brings you back to your old list.

Behind an unassuming interface, Recipe Box makes for a handy way to keep track of all your recipe ideas.
