A tool called JumpCloud Protect provides a quick and secure way to access business resources. This app adds an additional layer of protection to username and password authentication by ensuring user verification through multi-factor authentication (MFA).

The users have two MFA options to select from: a push notification or a TOTP verification code. These techniques are simpler to use and more secure than user-generated passcodes or SMS-based authentication codes.

In addition, the TOTP technique does not require your mobile device to be connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
