Write letters in this indie game

Every Letter is an indie game developed by Violet Fairy. In this free-to-play game, you will roleplay a letter writer. Your task is to type letters on various topics, from casual hellos to love letters.

Every Letter will have you type over a dozen possible letters. However, although there are various topics, the requests follow a storyline. However, note that there are restrictions in the game. As it simulates a letter writer that uses the traditional typewriter, you cannot delete letters or fix typos. Additionally, the content of your letter will be entirely up to you.

What is Every Letter?

Every Letter is a simple game inspired by the anime Violet Evergarden. Like the protagonist of the series, you will play a letter-writer of a letter-writing company. Your task is to write letters requested by the client. As mentioned, the topics are varied. You can write a casual hello at first then a love letter next. You can even write about heavy topics, such as death.

Like the anime series, you will be using a typewriter in this game. And like a traditional typewriter, there will be restrictions on your letter writing. As there is no delete option, you cannot delete letters. You cannot edit misspelled words or content that you don’t want in your letter. With this, make sure that you prepare all the words you want to add before you start typing.

The game comes with a wonderful hand-drawn illustration. From the typewriter to the papers used, everything brings you back to the past. It even comes with soothing background music for a relaxing experience. However, as with other indie games, the gameplay is too short. An average session only lasts about a half-hour. Also, as noted, there will be mention of heavy topics such as death and grief.

Should you play it?

All in all, Every Letter is a good casual game that you can play if you are into writing letters. Here, you have various topics that you can write about. Not only that, but it allows you to experience how it is to write using a traditional typewriter. However, each session is too short. Luckily, you can play the game repeatedly.
