What is this important, prized drop?

It is a highly coveted object that has proven itself nearly impossible to obtain: the Ceremonial Armored Gloves.

These gloves are considered rare loot, exclusively obtained only from selected NPCs (nonplayer characters). They are unattainable by regular means.

The Ceremonial Armored Gloves are part of the Ceremonial armor set. They are finely wrought, molded and elaborated in such a particular way so as to permit the fingers the freedom to move, instead of enforced restriction. Should a character don these gloves with the ceremonial armor and boots, they could potentially avert missile attack. They are that powerful – hence, the rarity.

There is a critical instance in the game – the Forest Stream incident – where an assassin leader and his minions attack the party. The leader is spotted carrying these Ceremonial Armored Gloves aside from his personal – and equipped – pair; he does not drop them, though — at least, in the default.
