Play cards in 3D
3D Classic Card Games is a collection of four games you can play against the computer – whist, seven up, crazy eights and war.
This shareware version limits the length of games, but it’s still playable. You can view rules for each game before you play, and choose to have sound and music, as well as set the game speed.
It’s called 3D Classic Card Games because the games take place on a three-dimensional card table, and you can alter the viewing angle – although you can’t rotate and see your opponents cards! The music is best avoided, although the sound effects are acceptable. Even on Very Fast, 3D Classic Card Games isn’t actually that quick, and your computer opponent can sometimes think for too long.
While there’s nothing wrong with the games on offer, four isn’t many and 3D Classic Card Games would be much improved with an online component so you could play other people. The presentation is average at best, and being in 3D doesn’t affect the gameplay at all.
3D Classic Card Games is a basic collection of games that feel a little out dated.
