Premium private communication platform

3CX is a paid communication tool that lets you connect your device to your organization’s network. This mobile app designed for enterprises serves as an end-user companion for the PC-based central system. It lets you send messages, make calls, or set up video calls to other users in the same network.

While 3CX is free to download, note that it requires the premium 3CX V18 platform. With that out of the way, it offers a powerful way of staying in touch with your workmates, making it perfect for organizations with remote employees, much like RingCentral or FuzeMobile.

Connect with your workplace

3CX is designed to make remote work convenient for everyone. After installing the app on your device, you only need to use it to scan a QR code from the accompanying web client. Once you’ve successfully connected to your organization, you can use all the communication channels offered by the V18 platform. Send and receive messages, calls, and video calls.

The app supports stable communication since it leverages voice over IP (VoIP) technology. As such, the quality of your calls depends on the internet connection you have. For additional functionalities, your phone app is synchronized with that of the main network, giving you access to the same office extensions. Also, you can change your profile status and functionalities to give you peace when you’re off your shift.

As a part of a larger platform, it requires you to use the app almost every day. Users who fail to respond to notifications or use the app for seven consecutive days are automatically tagged as inactive and are removed from the service. If it happens, you’ll need to register again. Additionally, this app can’t be used as a standalone solution, requiring a paid subscription to the V18 platform.

A reliable mobile extension

In cases where remote employees need to be constantly available, 3CX is a good tool to consider. It offers all available communication media, from messaging to video calls. It even automatically syncs with the office setup, allowing users to enjoy extra functionalities on the go. Of course, it only works as a part of a larger subscription and requires you to look into the app at least once a week.
