The latest version of New Concept English is now available for download. This educational app is designed to help students master the four basic skills of English: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The program consists of four levels:
1. Level 1: Basic knowledge of pronunciation, intonation, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and patterns.
2. Level 2: Practical application of grammar, sentence analysis, and the true usage of vocabulary and phrases.
3. Level 3: Development of skills in analyzing the logical relationships between sentences, recognizing the refinement, elegance, practicality, and imitability of sentence patterns.
4. Level 4: Fluent English with beautiful and unique text and complex yet concise sentence structures.
The new version retains the essence of the original edition while introducing several important features:
- Adapted specifically for English learners in China, with added vocabulary lists, text annotations, exercise explanations, and reference translations.
- Elimination of outdated content, replacing outdated texts with new ones and providing fresh exercises and illustrations.
- Adjustments to teaching methods to enhance students’ communication skills.
- More concise and refined content, eliminating unnecessary supplementary materials and incorporating their essence into the main textbooks.
- Larger layout for easier reading, with each lesson relatively independent for classroom teaching.
