ソードアートオンライン ヴァリアントショウダウン, developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., is a 3D action game that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the “Sword Art Online” anime.

In this game, players can control iconic characters such as Kirito and Asuna from the TV series and enjoy thrilling 3D battle action. The game features familiar SAO action, including various sword skills and the ability to switch between offense and defense. Players can parry enemy special attacks and unleash powerful actions to overpower bosses.

The game offers different difficulty levels, making it accessible for both action game beginners and experienced players. Players can form a party of three characters, each with their own unique battle tactics and skill effects. By considering enemy attributes, weaknesses, and personal play style, players can strategically compose their party.

Furthermore, the game offers character customization through special effects that occur when specific party combinations are formed, as well as the ability to equip accessories and choose costume color variations. Players can customize their characters to their liking and take on battles with their favorite party composition.

Experience a completely original story supervised by the original team, featuring a VR action game called “Cross Edge” designed by a genius middle school student. Join Kirito and his friends in their new adventures, along with the introduction of a new original character, Lila (CV: Sumire Uesaka).

The game also features the theme song “ANSWER” by Aoi Eir and an opening animation created by A-1 Pictures, the animation studio responsible for the SAO anime.
